Pay your Tribute
The 9/11 Memorial at Ground Zero in New York honors the memory of the nearly 3,000 people killed in the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, as well as the six people killed in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.
The memorial consists of two reflecting pools, which are located in the footprints of the Twin Towers. These pools are surrounded by bronze panels that bear the names of the victims.
Adjacent to the memorial, visitors can also find the 9/11 Memorial Museum. The museum provides a deeper understanding of the events of 9/11. It houses a collection of artifacts, photographs, videos, and personal stories related to the attacks.
Overall, the 9/11 Memorial and Museum serves as a place of remembrance, reflection, and education, honoring those who lost their lives and offering a space for visitors to come together in solidarity and contemplation.

The centerpiece of the memorial is known as the “Reflecting Absence.” It consists of two large, deep-set pools in the exact footprints of the original Twin Towers. The pools are each nearly an acre in size and have water cascading down all sides into a central void. The names of the victims are inscribed on bronze parapets surrounding the pools.
The surrounding plaza is lined with hundreds of oak trees and is a peaceful oasis in the midst of the bustling city. The area is open to the public and provides space for visitors to reflect, pay their respects, and remember the lives lost on that tragic day.
